The fourth in our series of exhibitions by artist couples. This collaboration is a family portrait that casts the gallery's public space as a more private domestic interior with lovers and pet gathered together in repose, pressed up close against the glass and all turned outward, looking onto the street like viewers themselves. The intimacies of home and bedroom address us with quietly jarring directness. The scene rushes forward like a postcard of something distant and even dreamy now suddenly here, in your face. Many since Saint-Exupery can attest to that feeling of love that is looking outward together in the same direction--as well as that feeling of love that includes wringing one another's neck.
